We can’t believe how quickly this year is going by! Memorial Day weekend has a way of waking up the Twin Cities all at once - suddenly the grill is out, the patio furniture is back, and everyone is looking for an excuse to be outside. Good news: the next two weeks are packed with reasons to get out and do just that. Minnesota Monthly's GrillFest is bringing its 14th annual summer kickoff to CHS Field in St. Paul with food, craft beer, and sunshine. Modist Brewing is hosting Burgertopia to celebrate burgers and support the hospitality community. And if you want to earn your meal, the Dash & Dine 5K lets you run for it first. Plenty on the calendar - go enjoy it!

60th Anniversary Party
Come to the Gasthaus as they celebrate 60-years of German food and culture along with the start of Summer … Maifest Style! Enjoy a variety of Hofbrau beer imported directly from Munich and wash down sausages with Hofbrau’s famous Maibock as they raise a new Maibaum (May Pole) and polka the night away in the open air!
Waterfest
This free, family festival celebrating our clean lakes provides an opportunity for outdoor hands-on learning about clean water, wildlife, and land and water conservation. Get a free kayak or canoe ride, explore our exhibits and art activities, participate in the fishing contest, try water flights from locations throughout the area, enjoy the Passport Odyssey, or take in a performance. Food trucks will also be available on-site to fuel your fun throughout the day

Tater Daze
Soak up spring at the beautiful Arboretum while shopping from up to 60 local artists and artisans select weekends in May. Enjoy live music and food and beverage for purchase as you check out your favorite makers from past years and discover new ones. Markets will be in the Scarecrow Hill area and will be open rain or shine.
