Summer is officially in full swing, and the Twin Cities calendar is packed with exciting events for every interest. Whether you're looking to admire incredible works of art at Chalkfest Maple Grove, enjoy world-class live performances at the Twin Cities Jazz Festival, or spend an evening surrounded by music and beautiful gardens at Como Park's Groovin' in the Garden concert series, there's no shortage of ways to make the most of the season. We've rounded up standout events happening this June that are perfect for a family outing, date night, or simply getting out and exploring everything our community has to offer.
Chalkfest Maple Grove returns June 13–14, 2026, with stunning sidewalk art, live entertainment, and family-friendly activities. The event runs from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. each day, with artwork remaining on display through June 15. This beloved summer tradition is back with fresh energy thanks to a partnership between Experience Maple Grove, the Maple Grove Arts Center, and renowned chalk artist Shawn McCann.
